We are often asked what the DCI logo stands for. The ‘D’ in the logo signifies that the company is Deaf owned and operated. The tilt of the ‘D’ reflects the past, present and future. The classic promenade font used in the logo indicates the history behind Deaf culture.
The silver color in the logo suggests technology and innovation, while the green stands for the environment and sustainability. Further, the three dots are positioned to form a ‘D’ written in Braille to represent the inclusion of Deaf-Blind. The three balls also denote the three parties – Deaf, communication service provider and hearing – that makes up effective communication between Deaf people and hearing individuals who do not sign.
